Stretch blow moulding

PET pellets are fed into the machine and if required also colour additive.
First a preform is made by injection moulding. The warm preform is
transferred into a hollow metal mould. A metal rod is introduced
through the mouth of the preform, stretching it in length.
Simultaneously compressed air is blown into the preform and
the plastic is pressed to the wall of the mould. The mould is chilled with
cold water. In seconds a finished bottle/jar is formed and then taken out of
the machine
